How can I help?

You are unique. And so is the way I support you……

My mission is to help you become unstuck. To help you awaken to all the possibilities that you would like to create in your life. To help you connect back to the wonderful Soul that you are.

Sometimes we get caught up in patterns that we know are holding us back, we’re just not sure why. Life feels like being attached to a bungee rope – we desperately want to move forwards but keep getting pulled back.

The likelihood is that you have some outdated software running a loop in your unconscious mind. That little voice that tells you that you can’t do it/its not safe/this will happen if…an unconscious story your mind is telling you. And it’s a story you can’t always necessarily change yourself because it’s buried. It’s buried deep. All with the intention of keeping you safe. But now you don’t need that programme running any more. It’s time to let it go and move forwards…….

So how to go about changing it…..

Between us we look to find the patterns that are keeping you stuck. We navigate the unconscious mind and reframe that which is no longer current. I help you find your way by using a powerful combination of Solution Focused Therapies including Cognitive hypnotherapy, Intuitive Coaching, NLP, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Timeline regression and Wordweaving which enables me to provide bespoke meditative scripts for clients to encourage and bring about positive changes. These techniques clear the pathway of old patterns and limiting beliefs enabling you to gain the clarity you desire.

I also work intuitively with crystals, oracle cards and dousing if these resonate with you. All of these tools are all designed to put you back in the driving seat of your life.

There are 5 key points that make this therapy Unique:

All behaviour has a positive intention and everyone is doing the best they can with what they have available to them at that moment

The role of the unconscious mind is to keep us safe. It uses past experiences to give context to present situations so even though we may wonder why something is triggering us, the intention is usually to keep us away from harm. This can sometimes makes us behave in ways we wish we didn’t but we can only work with what we know consciously at that time. If the unconscious is working from outdated software we need to look for the updates to enable us to reframe the past.

We have everything we need to solve our issues

It is not my job (or any one elses!) to ‘fix you’ because you are NOT broken. Life throws us curve balls constantly but you are more resilient than you think. As you enter your journey of transformation you will realise that all the answers you need lie within you.

The ultimate purpose of therapy is you help you to develop your own unique internal compass, enabling you to choose how to respond to life

Its time to get back into the driving seat of your life. You hold the keys. The more we feel in control of our lives and choices, the better we’ll feel about them. We always have a choice. You have all the internal power you need for your personal journey, its time to learn how to tap into it.

All problems AND all solutions are created by the mind

Your mind has created your current reality based on past experiences. It is a powerful bit of kit! Together we work to reframe past scenarios and create positive outcomes using the magic of our mind.

Trance is an everyday occurrence, is present in every problem and is the key to the solution

A trance or hypnosis state is not something that I put you into. We enter a trance state of our own accord multiple times a day, like when our mind wanders off preoccupied with our thoughts or we disappear into a daydream.

Essentially when we are doing our problem or having a disproportionate reaction to a fear, we naturally go into a trance. As a therapist it is my job to help de-hypnotise you from the trance state that your unconscious puts you in to protect you.

Evidence based approach

Quest Cognitive Hypnotherapy (QCH) launched a unique research project  using the same outcome measures currently used to assess the effectiveness of talking therapies within the NHS.

71% considered themselves recovered from Anxiety and Depression after an average of 4 sessions compared to an average of 42% for other approaches using the same measures (like CBT).

For further information concerning the research project and pilot study released in the Mental Health Review Journal please visit the evidence-based therapy research page.
